I bought my first shorthaired German Pointer in 1980 and I still got the same bloodline. I also had two english Pointers some years ago. With all of my dogs, mostly bitches I participate in field trials. The older ones are even used for deerhunting. In wintertime we do a lot of cross country skiing with the dogs. I’ve been judge for about 15 years now.
